Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics (TDL)
refers to a sector of the economy that covers a broad range of jobs,

industries that serve to physically move people and goods locally,
nationally, and internationally – whether by air, road, rail, or
water. Mr. West is Managing
Director, Maritime Services, at Global Insight, Inc. specializing in trade
and transportation and matters of economic development. His consulting
experience spans 25 years. This session is designed to address the key
challenges and trends of the TDL industry as they present themselves in the
regional landscape. As the world
becomes more and more flat, it is important to understand these implications,
as this is an industry so deeply rooted in communication beyond borders.
